Résumé :
|
As we know that the founder of Basle, Munatius Plancus, was a student of Cicero's, it would not be entirely wrong to assert that there has always been philosophy in Switzerland. 18th century Swiss thinkers; including such figures as Rousseau and Pestaalozzi, enjoyed international acclaim. Later philosophers played a major role in the emergence of the federal state in 1848.
